KENOSHA, Wisc. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference women’s cross country programs had a strong showing at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 22.
Walsh’s Claire Rethman was the highest G-MAC finisher, crossing the finish line in 3
rd place. Rethman clocked a 6k time of 20.21.3. Her time of 20.21.3 shatters the previous top 6k time of 20.39.40, held by Cedarville’s Corinne Lynch. Rethman and the Cavaliers finished
Hillsdale’s Allison Kuzma finished in 13
th with a time of 20.38.7. Kuzma’s 13
th place finish is the second-highest out of G-MAC runners.
The Cedarville Yellow Jackets finished in the top 10 as a team, finding themselves in 7
th place. Emily Walsh was led the team with a time of 20:56.2. CU’s 7
th place finish ties the highest team finish in G-MAC history.
