Great Midwest Athletic Conference Celebrates Annie Roshak's Nomination for NCAA Woman of the Year

Annie Roshak, a graduate student-athlete from Ashland, Ohio, continues to garner recognition for her remarkable blend of academic excellence and basketball prowess. The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has proudly nominated Roshak for the prestigious NCAA Woman of the Year award, celebrating her outstanding achievements both on and off the court.

Throughout her tenure, Roshak has exhibited exceptional skill and dedication. She boasts a 3.945 graduate cumulative GPA in the MBA program and has been named CSC Academic All-District thrice in her career. On the basketball court, Roshak has left an indelible mark on her program, averaging 15.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in the 2023-24 season. Her accuracy from the field stands at 59.3%, with an impressive 39.5% from beyond the arc and 84.9% from the free-throw line, contributing to a team-high 509 points.

Roshak's list of accolades is extensive. She was named first-team WBCA All-American, D2CCA All-Midwest Region first team, All-Great Midwest Tournament Team, and first-team all-league. Adding to her storied career, she achieved the title of Great Midwest Player of the Year, and she is the program's all-time leading scorer with 2,370 career points. Her leadership and skill have been instrumental in guiding the Eagles to a 31-2 overall record, making it to the D-II postseason all five seasons of her career and securing their third consecutive Great Midwest regular-season and tournament championships.
