INDIANAPOLIS—Tim Stollings of the University of Findlay has earned the Great Midwest Athletic Conference’s highest male honor. Stollings, who just completed a prolific swimming career, is the 2024 Great Midwest Collegiate Achievement Award winner and will be recognized at the conference’s awards banquet Tuesday, May 21.

Stollings, a native of Prichard,W.V., was a standout athlete during his years at Findlay. He led the Oilers to five consecutive conference titles and graduated as a two-time academic all-American.

He leaves Findlay with 28 individual G-MAC titles and four Athlete of the Year and Swimmer of the Meet selections. During his five years as an Oiler, Stollings has collected 16 first team and 11 second team all-American awards.

"Tim's dominance in the pool during his tenure in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference has established him as one of the most decorated student-athletes in league history," said Great Midwest Commissioner Tom Daeger. "He was a constant presence on the G-MAC/MEC Swimming & Diving Championship podium and set a multitude of records for the Oilers. His excellence for the Oilers swimming & diving program extended to the national competition as well, as one of the few in the G-MAC to earn multiple national championships. It is also evident his success will extend far beyond the pool as he concludes his collegiate career."

Stollings is also lauded for his involvement in the community. He is active in several outreach programs at Findlay, including the Oilers’ Swim School which teaches swim lessons to local youth.

"Tim has been one of the most decorated student-athletes in the history of University of Findlay athletics.  His success as a person is even greater.  Everything the Collegiate Achievement Award represents are qualities that define him," said Univeristy of Findlay Athletic Director Jim Givens.  "You simply won’t find a better person to represent the term student-athlete.  We are all so very proud of everything Tim has become and we look forward to seeing what lies ahead for him in the future."
