Fifth Annual Men's Lacrosse Challenge Cup is Back

INDIANAPOLIS-  The Great Midwest Athletic Conference and the East Coast Conference (ECC) are battling it out for regional supremacy on the lacrosse field. Three teams from each league will square off in the Great Midwest-ECC Lacrosse Challenge Cup event throughout the spring.
 
The first game of the series took place between Lake Erie and D’Youville on February 28. The Storm were victorious by a score of 22-7 to put the G-MAC in the lead.
 
March 9 marks the next matchup as Malone is set to face Frostburg State at 1 P.M. ET.
 
The final game of the series will take place April 21 between Mercy and Mercyhurst.
 
The 2024 season marks the fifth year of the challenge cup, with the East Coast Conference securing the title in 2019 and 2022 and the G-MAC taking home the cup in 2021 and 2023.
 
In conjunction with the annual challenge, the East Coast and Great Midwest conferences will each donate to Team Impact on behalf of their men’s lacrosse programs.
