MASON, Ohio- The stage has been set for top-seeded Trevecca Nazarene and No. 7 Ohio Dominican to compete for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Baseball Championship trophy on Saturday at Legacy Field.
The Timberwolves and Panthers had different paths to the championship series, but played their way to the final two as the championship bracket eliminated two or more teams during matches on Thursday and Friday.
The two teams met on Friday, as Ohio Dominican took care of business in the winner’s bracket with a 5-1 win over Northwood to hand them their first loss of the tournament. Findlay had an incredible run with a talented roster, but saw their season come to a close in the nightcap against the Timberwolves.
Northwood and Ohio Dominican will battle Saturday at Noon ET in hopes of taking home their program's first Great Midwest Title.
