INDIANAPOLIS- The Walsh Women’s Lacrosse team is the lone Great Midwest representative in the first edition of the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Regional Rankings. The initial rankings list teams as “under consideration”, with a numerical-ordered list to follow next week.
 
The back-to-back conference champions are the only team from the Great Midwest featured in the Midwest region. The Cavaliers are undefeated in the conference at 5-0 and are 11-3 this season.
 
First year head coach Erin Smith has led the Cavaliers to another successful season, leading the conference in several statistical categories. Walsh averages a conference-high 14.36 goals per game, 8.00 assists per game, and 22.36 points per game.
