INDIANAPOLIS—The first Men’s Lacrosse Regional Rankings were released by the NCAA Wednesday afternoon. Teams are split into a north and south region and are listed as “under consideration” in the initial rankings.
The league’s leaders in Mercyhurst and Seton Hill represent the conference in the North region. Seton Hill, the reigning Great Midwest Champions, are currently first in the conference with a 5-0 record. The Griffins lead the league in virtually every statistical category, including goals (192), assists (129), and points (321).
Mercyhurst is also featured in the region with an overall record of 8-2 and 3-1 in conference play.
Both teams will continue G-MAC play this weekend in hopes of meeting in the championship for the sixth consecutive year.
