NEW ORLEANS- Walsh University is the lone Great Midwest school in this week’s U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association Coaches Poll (USTFCCCA). Walsh moved up one spot to No. 11 after being ranked No. 12 in last week’s poll.
 
The Cavaliers are coming off of a seventh place finish at the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble. The team competed in the 8K open and recorded an average time of 27:15. Lukas Keverkamp led Walsh, placing eighth overall with a time of 26:27.8. Kyle Woods also placed in the top-20 with a 27:01.7 time.
 
Walsh heads to Lock Haven, Pennsylvania October 22^nd to compete in the Go Fast River Run.
