Tiffin's Hamilton Claims Conference’s First All-American Honor from IWLCA

INDIANAPOLIS
– Tiffin midfielder Elle Hamilton made Great Midwest Athletic Conference history as the first Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-American to come from the league.
 
Hamilton, previously a first-team all-region selection by the IWLCA organization, was voted to the third team.
 
Hamilton was already named the Great Midwest Midfielder of the Year, was additionally named First Team All-Region in 2018 and was Second Team All-Region in 2019. There were no awards granted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Hamilton led the conference in goals per game and points per game while also leading the conference in ground balls per game and draw controls.

She was third in caused turnovers. She is a four-time all-conference honoree, earning two honors from the GLIAC and two from the Great Midwest. She previously earned GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 2017 and Great Midwest Player of the Year in 2019.

Hamilton finished her Dragons’ career third in career goals, ground balls, and points. She is also Tiffin's all-time leader in draw controls and caused turnovers.
