INDIANAPOLIS
– PRASCO Park will once again welcome eight playoff qualifiers serve as the host for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Baseball Championship tournament coming to Mason, Ohio, this week.
 
The regular season in the league standings officially ended Saturday as Trevecca Nazarene officially locked up the top seed. under first-year head coach Chase Sain. The Trojans clinched the regular season conference title to finish off a series sweep and secured their sixth regular season championship trophy as a Great Midwest member.
 
The double-elimination formatted bracket will have action on both PRASCO Park and Legacy Field while ticketing with free admission, is being allotted to teams through online registration.
 
The first day of the conference tournament is on Wednesday, May 12, with No. 3 Ohio Dominican vs. No. 6 Hillsdale and No. 4 Kentucky Wesleyan vs. defending tourney champion No. 5 Tiffin at Legacy Field.
 
PRASCO Park will be featuring No. 7 Cedarville vs. No. 2 Walsh on Wednesday along with No. 8 vs. No. 1 Trevecca Nazarene in the nightcap.
 
All teams will be in contention on Thursday with the first round of consolation games and the championship qualifying second round being conducted. All games will be streamed live on the Great Midwest Digital Network with live stats.
 
The all-conference team, as voted upon by the coaches, will also be released during the championship following the first two games on Wednesday. There is no championship banquet being conducted this year due to COVID protocols.
 
The winner of the championship tournament will receive an AQ into the NCAA Championship Midwest Regional. Both TNU and Ohio Dominican are in the "Under Consideration" category in the current Division II Midwest Region rankings.
