INDIANAPOLIS - The Walsh Cavaliers win their first conference tournament title to earn Great Midwest Player of the Week honors released Tuesday morning.
Walsh won the regular season title and secured the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the championship tournament. The Cavaliers advanced past Ursuline (19-3) in the semifinals and defeated Tiffin (15-7) in the championship game to win their first Great Midwest championship title.

Throughout the tournament, Hindman totaled 10 goals on 16 shots to propel the Cavalier offense. She also won eight draw controls between the two games.
In the semifinal win over Ursuline, Hindman scored five goals on eight shots and assisted on one goal. In the championship, the midfielder added five more goals and two ground balls.
Hindman scored the fourth most goals in the league this season with 39, averaging three goals per game. She was named to the All-Conference Third Team and was named Player of the Week twice this season.

Kotulock helped lead the Cavalier defense that only allowed eleven shots in the semifinal game and 21 shots in the championship.
Against Ursuline, Kotulock won eight draw controls, caused four turnovers and picked up four ground balls. Against Tiffin, the senior won four draw controls, caused three turnovers and added six ground balls.
Kotulock averaged the most caused turnovers per game in the league with 2.15 per game, ending the season with a total of 28 caused turnovers. She also picked up the second most ground balls in the conference with 39.
The senior was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and named to the All-Conference First Team. She earned conference weekly honors three times this season.
