Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week (April 21)

INDIANAPOLIS - With a win over Findlay last week, Tiffin improves to 3-1 in the league earning the Dragons a pair of Great Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Player of the week honors, announced Wednesday.

The Dragons defeated the Oilers 17-10 on Sunday afternoon. Senior midfielder Leah Davis scored four goals on five shot attempts and added one assist. She also won seven draw controls, caused one turnover and picked up one ground ball.

Davis has scored 22 goals and assisted on three goals through eleven games this spring. She has also won 23 draw controls on the season.

Freshman goalkeeper Jenay Rennie had 16 saves on 26 shots including ten second-half saves to help the Dragons extend their lead. 

Rennie has 89 saves on the season, saving almost 50 percent of all goal attempts through nine games played. She allows an average of 12.6 goals per contest. 

This is the second time this season the freshman has earned conference weekly honors as she first did on March 29.
