INDIANAPOLIS – Third-ranked Mercyhurst and Alderson Broaddus were presented with Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week as announced on Wednesday afternoon.

In advance of a midweek matinee vs. No. 8 Mercy, the Lakers remained undefeated through the last week of competition as Kueber collected his third consecutive offensive weekly selection.
Kueber has been that good this spring, now sitting with a collective total of 59 points (36 G, 23 A). He had a season-high 10 points against Walsh in Mercyhurst’s first game of April in a 19-7 victory at home.
Kueber unleashed 10 shots and had seven shots on goal vs. the Cavaliers while balancing out his numbers with five goals and assists.
He had previously recorded nine points in a single game this season in matchups vs. nationally ranked Roberts Wesleyan, nationally ranked Westminster and Lake Erie.

Russo and the Battlers were up to the challenge in a rivalry matchup against Davis & Elkins as Alderson Broaddus put one in the win column following a 14-11 final.
The freshman mid was credited with eight ground balls picked up and had one assist while helping control possession with 13 face offs won out of 16 attempts.
The Battlers outscored the Senators in the second and third periods while the defense held strong in that span for a combined four goals. The AB offense countered by doubling up D&E in that window with eight goals.
Russo helped AB earn its first win of the season and has played in five different games this spring.
