Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week (March 30)

INDIANAPOLIS – From third-ranked associate member Mercyhurst, both selections for Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week came from the Lakers as announced on Tuesday.
 
Undefeated Mercyhurst received one first-place vote in the USILA Division II Poll, trailing only Le Moyne and Tampa for the top two spots. Seton Hill remains ranked fifth with a 4-1 overall record.

Kueber’s relentless offensive assault this spring continued against a talented Westminster program from Utah that was receiving votes in the national poll.
 
The senior earned offensive weekly honors for the third time in four weeks of the season with a nine-point effort against Westminster.
 
He tallied five goals and assisted four others while taking a total of 10 shots, eight of which were on target.
 
Kueber has scored at least five or more points in all five games this season while netting a total of 36 points (24 goals, 12 assists). The Lakers have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 93-35 in 2021.

The Lakers were tested against a talented Westminster squad as the Griffins managed to score 12 goals, the same amount rival Seton Hill scored in a top 5 matchup this spring.
 
After causing four turnovers in the season opener against Molloy, Angelicola came through with a season-best five on Saturday.
 
He also scored on the only shot taken and was credited with scooping up four ground balls. Angelicola has been a starter in all five games this season and has two goals and one assist.
 
Defensively, he has 13 caused turnovers and 12 ground balls to help keep his team undefeated in the season to date.
