INDIANAPOLIS – No. 3 nationally-ranked Seton Hill had an impressive spring debut to earn the sweep of Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week as announced on Tuesday.
 
The Griffins put up some big numbers against Chestnut Hill to begin the season as the conference associate member and preseason runner-up hit the ground running.
 
Seton Hill moved past Mercyhurst in this week’s USILA Poll, just switching spots with the Lakers, who have yet to make their season debut. Wheeling scored a non-conference win over Felician while Lake Erie opened the year against Georgian Court.

Hofseth nearly equaled his scoring output from the shortened 2020 season following his notable effort against Chestnut Hill.
 
The senior attack was credited with nine points, including eight goals and an assist in a decisive 24-8 win.
 
Hofseth scored his eight goals on only 11 shots and was credited with one caused turnover.
 
In 2020, he started six games and scored 12 goals, which ranked second on the team. As a sophomore in 2019, he led the Griffins with 35 goals.

After earning defensive weekly honors twice in the shortened 2020 six-week season, Mo is off to a fast start with his first nod of 2021.
 
Mo was one of three SHU keepers to get game action against Chestnut Hill as the trio of him, Josh Miller and Andrew D’Allaird. limited their opponent to eight goals on 37 shots faced.
 
At 6-4, 315, Mo is an imposing force behind net. He allowed just three goals and was credited with 12 saves.
