Seton Hill, Mercyhurst Feature Eight Preseason USILA All-Americans

INDIANAPOLIS – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) polled Great Midwest Athletic Conference associate members Mercyhurst and Seton Hill as top-five programs going into the 2021 season.
 
Both programs were already ranked similarly in the NIKE/US Lacrosse preseason poll at third and fifth, respectively, that came out in late January.
 
In the USILA Preseason Team Rankings, Mercyhurst is positioned fourth with 311 points and Seton Hill retains its hold on fifth with 281 points.
 
Individually, the USILA / Warrior and New Balance Preseason Division II All-American Teams broken down with First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention units.
 
The USILA Preseason Second Team All-Americans from the Great Midwest include Mercyhurst attack Caleb Kueber and midfielder Nathan Grenon.
 
USILA Honorable Mention All-Americans were Mercyhurst attack Devin Pipher and Seton Hill attack Logan Maloni. SHU’s Zack Estabrooks was represented at midfield and defense/goalie had a trio of Griffins with Christian Krauch, Andrew Clark and Kevin Mo, all making the grade.
 
The Great Midwest preseason coaches poll is scheduled to be released on Friday, Feb. 19. The conference schedule is slated to begin on Saturday, March 6.
