Ohio Dominican (12-5) and Lake Erie (3-13) went 2-0 on the week as well, including a double overtime win over Ursuline (7-11) for the Storm.

After this week of play, the Points Rating System (PRS) still shows Cedarville as the favorite heading into the conference tournament, but KWC, Walsh and ODU follow close behind, making up the top four seeds as of now.

The balanced offensive attack and fast-paced play of Kentucky Wesleyan have made them a tough match-up for opponents all season. That was no different last week as they topped No. 17 Cedarville and Tiffin on the road.

Cali Nolot has been a key player this season for the Panthers, averaging just under 10 ppg, while shooting .484 percent from the floor.

In the Panthers 63-59 win at Tiffin, Nolot was 6-of-12 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc, to tie teammate Kaylee Clifford for high-scoring honors with 15 points.

KWC then beat No. 17 Cedarville in a come from behind win, 89-84. The Panthers trailed for the majority of the game, until the final minutes of the fourth quarter. Nolot made two pairs of free throws in the final minute of play to secure the win.

The junior tallied 16 points and eight rebounds against Cedarville, while also adding one assist and one steal.

The Panthers lead in the league in team field goal percentage (.463) and steals per game (11).

This marks Nolot’s first Player of the Week honors and the first weekly honors for the Panthers this season.
