INDIANAPOLIS – The fall portion of the 2021-22 season is winding down for most programs as Hillsdale earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for earning a regional dual win.

The Chargers will be going into the spring on a high note after going to Grand Rapids, Mich., to defeat Davenport and earn a regional win, 7-0.
 
Hackman won both singles and doubles matches as Hillsdale improved to 2-1 in duals while also beating Midwest Region foe Saginaw Valley State earlier this month.
 
Hackman controlled the action at No. 1 singles and doubles for the Chargers. She set the tone with teammate Libby McGivern for a 6-3 win in doubles.
 
In singles, she won in straight sets by taking down Davenport’s No. 1, Willemien Coetzee, 6-3, 6-0.
