INDIANAPOLIS – Ranked seventh in Division II for the third week in a row, associate member Seton Hill claimed Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week awards.
The Griffins earned their first two victories of the spring, one in conference play vs. Davis & Elkins and the other vs. Davenport.
Seton Hill remains in the USILA Top 20 along with No. 4 ranked Mercyhurst. Both programs are powerhouses in the North Region for potential championship qualification.

Maloni led the SHU offense to two wins vs. D&E and Davenport by a combined score of 46-9 over the weekend. He led the Griffins with a total of 7 goals and 8 assists.
The senior attacker scored 3 goals and added 3 assists in the win, SHU’s season opener, at Davis & Elkins.
Maloni finished with 4 goals and 5 assists in the win at home over Davenport.
This is Maloni’s second conference career offensive player of the week honor.

Scerbo, a preseason All-American, was successful for 28-of-35 attempts on faceoffs (80%) with 21 ground balls on the weekend. He also added a goal.
The senior standout was 18-for-21 on faceoffs with 14 ground balls and a goal against Davis & Elkins.
He was 10-for-14 with 7 ground balls in the win over Davenport.
Scerbo is now a five-time winner of conference defensive player of the week honors throughout his career.
Seton Hill returns to action on Saturday at #11 Mount Olive.
