INDIANAPOLIS –
With the season chugging along, Great Midwest Athletic Conference programs remain prominently featured in the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional and national polls.

Three women's teams are stabilized in the top 25 national poll and one men's program is still ranked going into Week 3 of the fall.

Hillsdale leads the women at No. 9 followed by Walsh at No. 13 and Malone at No. 22. The Walsh men are also sitting at No. 17 in the new Week 2 USTFCCCA national rankings.

The Walsh teams were buoyed by strong performances at the National Catholic Invitational hosted by Notre Dame as head coach Rob Mizicko's programs bested multiple Division I institutions.

Walsh's men climbed five spots in the national poll (ranked No. 22 in Week 1/Preseason) and all three women's teams remained idle from their ranked position from the previous week.

Analyzing the regional rankings, both Walsh and Malone moved up in the Midwest to fourth and seventh. Cedarville moved down two spots from No. 6 and are currently eighth.

There was no change in the top 10 of the Midwest Region for the women. Hillsdale remained second only behind Grand Valley State, Walsh was perched at No. 4 and Malone is still No. 7.

All conference teams are gearing up for the Great Midwest Championship on Saturday, Oct. 26, hosted by Ursuline College. The postseason continues for everyone at the NCAA Midwest Regional followed by selected team and individual qualifiers at the NCAA Championships.
