INDIANAPOLIS – Walsh and USILA No. 12-ranked Seton Hill collected Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week accolades as announced on Tuesday afternoon. 
 
Offensive Player of the Week

Apshago gave the Cavaliers back-to-back conference offensive players of the week following a seven-point clinic put on during a win against Davis & Elkins. 
 
He matched the point total put on the scoresheet from last week’s offensive player of the week, teammate Kevin McMahon, in a 27-13 win for Walsh. 
 
It was a season-high goal total for the Cavaliers as the offense put away 27 goals on 58 shots. 
 
Apshago was able to help Walsh get off to a quick start with two of his team’s first goals in the opening period. He scored three times in the second quarter and once more in the third. 
 
He was credited with an assist on Walsh’s first goal of the final quarter in which the Cavaliers scored nine times to help determine the final outcome.
 
Defensive Player of the Week

Eismann was the defensive stopper in yet another conference championship rematch between the nationally-ranked Griffins and rival Mercyhurst, ranked 11th when the two clashed on Saturday.
 
The junior USILA All-American made a career-high 20 saves for No. 12 Seton Hill as the Griffins pursue their third consecutive league championship. 
 
The 13-11 win for Seton Hill put the Griffins in the driver’s seat for first place in the conference standings. 
 
Eismann had a save percentage of over 64 percent while facing a total of 57 shots from the Mercyhurst offense. He also collected nine ground balls. 
 
This is the SHU keeper’s fourth conference defensive player of the week award as a competing member of the Great Midwest.
