INDIANAPOLIS – Alderson Broaddus and Ohio Dominican were awarded with Great Midwest Athletic Conference Baseball Players of the Week recognition as announced on Monday afternoon.

The Battlers brought out the thunder sticks in a 6-0 week to firmly plant themselves back into the playoff picture. AB’s moved to 17-15 in the conference schedule as eight teams try to make their way into the Great Midwest Championship bracket.
Amedure was the catalyst for the offensive explosion as the senior sprayed six extra-base hits and hit .500 (14-for-28).
He slugged three homers, legged out three doubles, scored 11 runs plated nine of his teammates. Amedure didn’t strike out in 28 plate appearances and also showed plate discipline by drawing four walks.
Amedure had five multi-hit games over the past week, including a 4-for-7 line in the series finale against Ohio Valley on the road. He had five RBI in the series opener with two home runs against Fighting Scots’ pitching.
He was 3-for-4 with two doubles in game of the Saturday doubleheader and he started Sunday on a similar note with a 2-for-4 effort, two RBI and three runs.
Amedure is third in the league with 12 homers this spring and is ninth in the conference in hitting with a .370 average in 41 games played.

Bault was the pitcher of record for two ODU wins as the Panthers have established themselves among the league’s elite for the second straight season.
ODU racked up four more conference wins, including a pair of one-run victories against Walsh, one of the best in the Great Midwest this season.
Bault wove together a strong line of a 1.29 ERA, 14 innings pitched, 13 strikeouts and just one free pass issued.
He defeated both Cedarviille and Walsh on the mound. Hitters only batted .188 off the senior righty.
Bault fanned nine against Cedarville, going seven strong inning with one run allowed on five hits. In his second start of the week, he delivered comparable results with seven innings with one run on four hits vs. Walsh.
Bault is now a six-time pitcher of the week in less than two seasons. This is his third honor of the current season already.
