INDIANAPOLIS – A pair of key league victories helped Hillsdale earne Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season as announced on Monday.

There was a changing of the guard at the top of the Great Midwest as Kentucky Wesleyan continued its double-digit win streak, now up to 13 straight victories.

The Panthers did their part by beating Lake Erie and Ursuline and received some help as previous first-place Cedarville tumbled against Findlay and Hillsdale on the road.

The Yellow Jackets are still in second a full game ahead of both Findlay and Walsh, while Trevecca Nazarene is making an ascent to the top half of the standings with two league wins.
