INDIANAPOLIS – Trevecca and Ohio Valley each received recognition for Great Midwest Athletic Conference Baseball Players of the Week for the South Division as announced on Monday afternoon.
The South Division is headlined by Kentucky Wesleyan (17-14, 7-7 overall). The defending conference tournament champion Panthers are winners of five straight.
Trevecca (15-18, 5-8 G-MAC) is second followed by Ohio Valley (13-19, 4-11 G-MAC) and Alderson Broaddus (6-21, 4-11 G-MAC) fighting for a potential playoff spot. Cedarville (7-18, 3-10 G-MAC) remains in the race while Davis & Elkins (5-27, 0-14 G-MAC) is still seeking its first league victory.

For the second time this season and third time in his career, Harrison was ticketed for weekly divisional honors with another torrid stretch at the plate.
Harrison hit .611 while going 11-for-18 at the plate with five extra-base hits as the Trojans faced Lincoln Memorial in non-conference competition and a three-game stint against Alderson Broaddus.
Harrison had at least two hits in all four games and ripped three home runs, a pair doubles and drove in seven while scoring seven times. He also walked four times and swiped a pair of bases.
In a tight 11-10 TNU win, Harrison homered and doubled while going 2-for-4 with 3 RBI against the Railsplitters.
Two days later on Thursday, Harrison ripped two more homers against the Battlers to open the three-game series and went 3-for-5 with three RBI. He boosted his on-base percentage by drawing both walks and stealing two bases to start Saturday’s twinbill.
Harrison then finished up the series with a 4-for-5 exhibition against AB with a double in the finale. He only struck out once in his 18 official at-bats and slugged 1.222.
Harrison leads the Trojans with a .331 batting average this season. He has started all 33 games appeared in and hit eight home runs to go with six doubles.

Felger used 113 pitches for a complete-game winning decision against Hillsdale as he spun nine innings to go with nine strikeouts.
The southpaw scattered eight hits, walked one and yielded one run as the Fighting Scots beat their interleague opponent, 3-1.
OVU enjoyed a 3-2 week, winning a series with divisional foe Cedarville and salvaging the split against Hillsdale, currently second in the North Division standings.
Felger is now 3-4 on the season with eight starts and a 5.32 ERA. He has 34 strikeouts in almost 46 innings pitched.
