INDIANAPOLIS - Alderson Broaddus senior Jasmine Barham and freshman Alex Shaffer were Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday.

The Battlers competed against Davis & Elkins in conference play this past week.

Barham scored five goals and assisted on two more, giving her seven points on the afternoon. It marked her fifth G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week selection in the current season alone.

Shaffer had five draw controls to her credit along with one caused turnover. Shaffer also did some impressive work on the offensive end against the Senators, scoring two goals.

The Battlers and Senators face off once more in the 2017 season, this time in the opening game of the G-MAC Championship that will be played in Philippi, WV.
