INDIANAPOLIS – Ursuline junior Cydney Bartlett and senior Grace Savage were named Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday.

Bartlett and Savage each had impressive performances on the field in UC’s first win of the spring against Mount St. Joseph to collect G-MAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors.

The Arrows (1-1 overall) had opened the spring against Baldwin Wallace earlier in the week.

In both contests, Bartlett combined for seven goals and two assists for nine total points. Against MSJ, the reigning G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year scored five goals and assisted two others.

Versus Baldwin Wallce in her spring debut, Bartlett scored twice.

Savage recorded a pair of ground balls and draw controls in the win against Mount St. Joseph. The Arrows permitted just six goals on only 18 shots as a defensive unit to collect their first win of the season.
