INDIANAPOLIS – Alderson Broaddus swept both Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week honors for the second time in a row.

Repeating as G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week was senior attacker Jasmine Barham while G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week was awarded to Ceilidh Kempton.

The Battlers are off to a 2-0 start to the start under new head coach Angie Rudy after AB toppled Chowan on the road, 15-12. Alderson Broaddus has won both contests as the away team.

Barham is out of the gates quick as the league leader in goals and assists early into the season. She netted three goals on just five shots and assisted four more Battler goals.

She was also credited with a pair of groundballs and a caused turnover in the AB effort. Barham now has seven goals and four assists in just two games played.

Kempton, a junior midfielder, helped slow down Chowan with four caused turnovers. She was also credited with a pair of groundballs and draw controls.

AB’s first conference defensive player of the week was Morgan Winterbottom following a win against Charleston.
