GREENWOOD, Ind. – Cedarville senior Olivia Esbenshade was named the first Great Midwest Athletic Conference for the fall season on Tuesday.
Heading into the season-opening Queen City Invitational (6K) hosted by Cincinnati, Cedarville was ranked tied for 25th nationally, and finished second out of the nine teams present.
Esbenshade finished 12th out of 91 runners in the 6K for Cedarville. She finished with a time of 22:22, which was good enough for the ninth-fastest 6K finish in conference history.
Cedarville’s next meet will be the 26th Cedarville-hosted Annual Friendship Invitational (5K) on Saturday, Sept. 17.
