GREENWOOD, Ind. - Trevecca Nazarene junior Biz Mclendon has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Mclendon finished fourth out of 111 runners who took part in the first-ever Trevecca Division II Showcase in Nashville.

As a team, the Trojans toured the 5K course at Vaughn's Gap in Percy Warner Park and placed fourth out of 14 schools in attendance.

Mclendon's clocked a time of 19:17.80 in the showcase, one of the conference's best in that distance this season.

This is the first G-MAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor of Mclendon's career.
