GREENWOOD, Ind. – Ursuline junior attacker Maddie Kipp was named the 10th Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Kipp and the Arrows completed a strong ending to the regular season and are preparing to host the league’s first championship in the sport starting on Friday.
Ursuline earned the opening-round bye as a result of going 4-0 in league play, including wins against Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins again this past week.
Kipp was a terror offensively, scoring nine goals and assisting on three others in both games combined.
The Arrows finished the regular season at 8-8 overall and will head into the postseason as winners in five of their last six contests.
Kipp ranked third in the G-MAC in goals (44) and assists (15) and was second in points (59) by just two to teammate Cydney Bartlett.
