GREENWOOD, Ind. - Ursuline sophomore midfielder Cydney Bartlett was named the fourth Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week for the 2016 season on Monday.

The Arrows evened their record at 3-3 overall while beating Urbana on the road in their lone match last week, 22-9.

Bartlett recorded eight goals on just nine shots against the Blue Knights.

The number of goals and total of nine points vs. Urbana is a single-game high for all players this season in the G-MAC’s young, developing history.

Bartlett scored three goals in the first half and netted five more in the second half.

She tallied two more unassisted goals for the Arrows within the first few minutes of play after halftime. Bartlett also finished the game with an assist, three ground balls and one draw control.

Bartlett has started all six games for Ursuline. She currently ranks fourth in the G-MAC in goals (17), third in goals per game (2.83), second in assists (6) and assists per game (1.00). 

Bartlett is the league leader in total points with 23 in the season to date.
