GREENWOOD, Ind.
- Schools from the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), comprise a 12-team field for the upcoming 2016 Midwest Region Crossover Baseball Showcase.

Competitive regional baseball games will be conducted this weekend on four different fields at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind., from March 18-20.

The event was created with the intention to increase the amount of regional games played.

Live stats will be provided for all 24 scheduled games. Links will be updated closer to the respective game times.

Three games are scheduled for Friday, March 18, to get the showcase underway. On Saturday, 12 games will be played from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. EST while Sunday will feature nine more contests.

GLVC schools in attendance include Drury (5-11), Indianapolis (11-3), Lewis (7-5), Missouri S&T (10-5), Saint Joseph's (7-6) and UMSL (10-1).

Three teams will represent the G-MAC: Alderson Broaddus (5-6), Cedarville (3-5) and Kentucky Wesleyan (9-6).

The GLIAC also has the following three teams participating: Grand Valley State (7-6-1), Tiffin (5-8) and Walsh (8-8).

Admission for Friday's shortened schedule is $7 for the general public. Saturday and Sunday is set at $10 for each day which includes admittance for all games played on the current day.

Students with valid ID and youth (K-12) get in for $3 on Friday and $5 on Saturday and Sunday. Children five and under are free.
