INDIANAPOLIS - Ohio Valley sophomore Lily Parsons was named the Great Midwest Athletic Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Sunday as the Fighting Scots completed a 5K race in Ohio.

Ohio Valley traveled to Wilmington College to compete in the #JennaStrong Invitational. As a team, the Fighting Scots finished 16th.

Leading the pack was Parsons, who crossed the line at the 19:03 mark. The time puts her at 16th in the conference this season for the 5K distance.
