GREENWOOD, Ind. - Trevecca Nazarene junior Ben Moroney was named the third Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the fall on Monday.
 
Moroney crossed the finish line ahead of 114 other runners at the Cedarville Friendship Invitational on Saturday, garnering top honors in the field.
 
The junior also eclipsed his previous best personal record and now owns the top 8K time clocked in the conference this fall with a time of 25:42.70.
 
The Trojans finished fifth as a team with 12 total schools competing.
 
TNU will enjoy a weekend of rest before heading out to South Bend and taking part in the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday, Oct. 2.
