GREENWOOD, Ind. - Sophomore Logan Rodgers of Trevecca University was elected as the G-MAC’s Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week as a result of his impressive effort at the Commodore Invitational hosted by Vanderbilt University over the weekend.
Rodgers clocked in 11th overall among 242 total runners, including a heavy dose of NCAA Division I competition, shattered the school record’s 8K time in the process. The Trojans were third in the non-Division I category and also set a new program benchmark with an average time of 26:27 per runner.
Rodgers placed first among non-Division I runners with a time of 25:05. He was the 2013 G-MAC Freshman of the Year and earned first-team all-conference honors as well.
