Ryan, who continues to lead the league in scoring, scored a conference record 43 points in the victory, surpassing the previous record of 38 points by Laura Campbell of Ursuline from 2012. She added a team-high seven rebounds and four steals, plus three assists. The Lady Jackets trailed by nine points in the first half, before making a late run to hold a two point lead at halftime. Ryan scored eight of the team’s final ten points in the half.

In the second half, Cedarville once again got down big, trailing by a game-high 16 points with 8:03 remaining. Ryan scored 10 of the next 12 points for CU to bring them within four points with 6:40 remaining. Then with four second left, Urbana hit two free throws to go up by three points and at the buzzer, Ryan buried a three-pointer to send the game into overtime.

Trailing by two in OT, Ryan’s layup tied the game for the 13th and final time in the contest, and then with a two point lead her fifth three pointer gave the team a five-point lead and Cedarville was able to exchange free throws with Urbana to secure the 98-91 win.

Ryan finished 13-20, including 5-9 from long range. She was 12-13 from the free throw line to total her record 43 points. Ryan is scoring 21.4 points per game and shooting 52% from the field and a conference best 90.9% from the free throw line and 51.1% from long range to also lead the G-MAC. She is second in assists with 4.5 per game and leads the way with 30 steals (3.0 per game).
