GREENWOOD, Ind. - Just a freshman, Carsyn Koch paved the way at the Cedarville-hosted All-Ohio Invitational on Friday en route to collecting G-MAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors.
Koch helped the Lady Jackets to 11th as a team and placed 39th individually against 500 other runners from all levels of competition.
In terms of NCAA Division II/NAIA schools, she factored in at 16th of 145 and the team was fourth of 13.
Her time of 23:12 on the 6K Elvin R. King course equated into an average of 6:13 per mile and Koch currently owns the best 6k individual time in the G-MAC this fall.
