GREENWOOD, Ind. - Running on her home territory, Alderson Broaddus University junior Jenny Brewer distanced herself from the competition to top billing for a second nod as the G-MAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
 
On Saturday, the Battlers hosted the Seaton Invitational, a challenging 5K course on the rugged terrain in West Virginia.
 
Brewer finished first in the field with a time of 20:41, placing one minute and 13 seconds of ahead of the individual runner-up. ABU finished second as a team in the Battlers’ final regular season event this fall.
