GREENWOOD, Ind. - Trevecca University sophomore Logan Rodgers carved out another sterling performance, this time in Alabama en route for his third G-MAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week nod.
Rodgers ran in the University of Alabama-hosted Crimson Classic and finished second individually as the Trojans placed runner-up in the final team standings.
Already armed with the league’s best (Greater Louisville Classic) and third-best (Commodore Classic), Rodgers turned in the G-MAC’s sixth-best 8K time with his latest effort in 25:23.83.
The Trojans were under six seconds contesting Emmanuel (Ga.) University for top honors in the seven-team field. The official distance ran in Tuscaloosa was measured at 8,085 meters.
Rodgers finished only a few ticks behind Sam Mueller, an unattached competitor who used to run for Auburn University.
