INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference released its Women’s Tennis All-Conference Team and Individual Awards on Thursday, concluding the 2012-13 athletic year for the conference. The Women’s Champion in 2012-13 was Cedarville University, following its perfect conference regular-season.

The Yellow Jackets rolled through conference play with ease. They compiled not only a perfect conference record, but never dropped a single match within each contest, going a perfect 36-0 in the conference season (24-0 in singles and 12-0 in doubles).
Along with that, Cedarville only dropped one set in conference play. Making their singles record for sets, 48-1 and they were 12-0 in doubles as they play one set per match to eight. Cedarville was led by four all conference performers this season including the sweep of all G-MAC individual awards.

COURTNEY HEYDT
Sophomore – Cedarville University
Heydt was the G-MAC Player of the Year after posting the best overall record in the conference. She compiled an 18-5 record in singles and was perfect in the conference. She had an eight-game winning streak before losing her last match of the season.
In doubles, no matter who she played with, she found success as she combined to go 17-4 on the season. The Mason, Ohio native played with three different partners over the course of the season and again won all of her G-MAC matches in doubles action. She helped lead Cedarville to a conference championship and an appearance in the NCCAA Midwest Region Tournament.

LOUISE DELYTE MORRIS
Cedarville University
Head Coach Louise Delyte Morris led the Yellow Jackets to a perfect conference record (4-0) and a 17-7 overall record. Cedarville made a post-season appearance in the NCCAA tournament where they were the Midwest Region’s runner up. Morris coached the Freshman of the Year, the Player of the Year, and four All-Conference selections (out of six).
In the conference, her team totaled a record of 298-35 in points in singles matches, and 96-3 in points during doubles matches. In the fall season, Cedarville was 7-2. They swept three of those opponents. Then in the spring season the Yellow Jackets were 11-4.
Great Midwest Athletic Conference: Freshman of the Year
JESSIE FINFROCK
Freshman - Cedarville University
FInfrock was undefeated on the season in her limited appearances as a freshman. She was 4-0 in singles, including 2-0 in the conference. She also won her only doubles match with teammate Lyndsay Stine, also coming in G-MAC play. The West Milton, Ohio native made appearances in the number five and six singles position for Cedarville, doing the job very nicely for the Yellow Jackets in her first season. In all of her matches, she failed to drop a set, and only lost two games.
