Freshman - Right-Handed Pitcher
Jordan Adams has been named the G-MAC Pitching Athlete of the Week after throwing four innings, resulting in a no-decision for Adams as the Yellow Jackets lost to Saint Joseph’s (Indiana). In a shortened week due to a majority of the games being cancelled conference-wide, Adams started and finished four innings allowing just one run.
Adams allowed just three hits and struck out three hitters, leaving the game with a 3-1 lead, however the bullpen allowed six runs in the fifth inning for the no-decision. Adams three strikeouts led the conference in the last week, while the three hits allowed was the lowest among the starters in the conference.
As a freshman, Adams has made nine appearances, making just the one start. With only limited innings, he does not qualify for conference rankings, but his 3.52 earned run average is second on his team and would rank sixth in the conference.
