INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced that Jordan Foreman of Trevecca Nazarene University and Justin Robinson of Urbana University have been named G-MAC Baseball Pitching and Offensive Athletes of the Week respectively.

Jordan Foreman helped guide Trevecca Nazarene to a 3-2 week, including wins over Union and Mid-Continent. The Trojans celebrated their official first night game under the lights on campus with a 7-4 win over Mid-Continent.
 
On the week, Foreman hit .526, going 10-19 at the plate with four doubles and a homerun. He drove in four runs, while slugging .895. His season average of .548 leads his team and the conference by 48 points.
 
In the team’s last outing of the weekend, Foreman hit a game-winning, solo-home run in the bottom of the sixth inning (of a scheduled seven inning game). The solo shot gave the Trojans a 9-8 lead, which they were able to save in through the top of the seventh.
 
On the season, Foreman has 23 hits, nine runs scored, eight doubles, a home run, eight runs batted in, 34 total bases, a .810 slugging percentage, and is 3-3 in stolen base attempts.

Justin Robinson

Justin Robinson helped guide the Urbana baseball team to a 4-1 week, improving to 7-3 overall. For Robinson, he threw 10 innings over two games last week without allowing a run.
 
Robinson made one start, throwing a complete game shutout against Saginaw Valley State University. The 1-0 win for Robinson was his first of the season, as he went seven innings, allowing four hits and striking out eight hitters as he made the first inning run the Blue Knights scored enough in his outstanding performance.
 
Robinson also pitched in relief last week, throwing 3.1 innings against the University of Findlay after the starter left after five innings of work. Robinson allowed one unearned run in the top of the ninth on two hits, while striking out a pair to help preserve the win. He entered the game in the top of the sixth inning after Urbana took a 7-4 lead in the bottom of the fifth. The Blue Knights pushed the lead to 12-4 with five more runs in the seventh.
 
On the season, Robinson is 1-0 with a conference-low 0.00 earned run average. He has pitched 15 innings, allowing five unearned runs on nine hits. He has struck out a team-high 17 batters, who are hitting only .170 off the lefty.
