INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Matt Brooker of Cedarville the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Brooker, who has dominated the Runner of the Week - earning six-straight and six of seven honors ever handed out by the G-MAC, won his second race of the season.

Matt Brooker has been named G-MAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week and sixth time in his career. It is also his sixth time out of seven total handed out by the conference, winning the last six in a row dating back to last season.
This weekend, Brooker won the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships with a time of 24:54, winning by over ten seconds. The field featured 289 runners from Division I, II, III, and NAIA, and Brooker became the first Yellow Jacket in CU's long cross country history to claim the individual title at this event.
