Alex Archambault has been named G-MAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and sixth time in her career. The sophomore leader of the Lady Jacket team helped her team win its second-straight G-MAC Women’s Cross Country Championship in a row, as she won the event individually for the second straight year as well.

Archambault, who finished the 6,000 meter race in 22:32.30, was named the G-MAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Year for the second-straight season and was also an All-Conference First Team selection for her performance in the Championship race.

Archambault finished ahead of second place Jenny Brewer (Alderson Broaddus) by 29 seconds, but more importantly finished ahead of Trevecca Nazarene’s top runner by a minute and 21 seconds, which considering the team total time advantage Cedarville had was only a minute and 29 seconds says it all.
