CANTON, Ohio - Cedarville returned to the road and posted a 7-2 victory at Malone in women's tennis action.

The Lady Jackets improved their record to 8-7. It's the first time since October that they have been over the .500 mark.

CU took a 3-0 lead after doubles with the #1 tandem of Brooke Johnson and Lily Schuler registering an 8-2 result. Other winners were #2 Melissa Stoltzfus and Joy Dice (8-1) as well as #3 Maryssa Herbert and Chelsea Diamond (8-6).

The Jackets nailed down points in singles matches 3-through-6, all in straight sets. Decisions went to Stoltzfus (6-2, 6-2), Dice (6-2, 6-1), Herbert (6-3, 6-2), and Lyndsay Stine (7-5, 6-1).
