Kentucky Wesleyan traveled to Hilton Head, SC for their annual spring break trip and swept all four matches in four days by defeating Nazareth (6-3), Fairmont State (7-2), Macalester (7-2) and East Stroudsburg (7-2).
Jayden Morrison, Danielle Hadler, Kendall Ganus won the No. 3, 4 and 5 singles respectfully against Nazareth. Maddy Bogle and McMahon won the No. 2 doubles and Ganus/Morrison the No. 3 flight.
Against Fairmont State, Bogle, Morrison, Ganus and Jamie Brown captured the No. 2, 3, 5 and 6 singles. The Panthers swept all three doubles with Brown and Macey Hallstedt at No. 1; Bogle/McMahon at No. 2; and Ganus/Morrison at No. 3.
The Panthers won all double flights over Macalester with Brown/Hallstedt at No. 1; Bogle/McMahon at No. 2; and Hannah Butcher/Morrison. Morrison, Hallstedt, Brown and Hadler won No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles.
KWC won five of six singles and two doubles to defeat East Stroudsburg in their fourth and final match at Hilton Head.
Ganus, Bogle, Brown, Hadler and Butcher won No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles flights. Bogle/McMahon won No. 2 doubles while Ganus/Morrison collected the No. 3 spot.
The Panthers (7-6) host Southern Indiana in the Great Lakes Valley Conference season opener at the KWC tennis courts on Saturday at 10 a.m. CT.
