NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Ursuline Cross Country team finished its 2011 season at the Ohio Independent Championships, running against Malone University, Cedarville University, Walsh University, Urbana University, and Notre Dame College. The Arrows finished in fourth ahead of Urbana and Notre Dame.

UC was led by freshman #Madgie Dunn#, who officially finished in 19th place in a time of 22:11.77, followed closely by teammate Jennette Goans, who finished 20th with a time of 22:20.27.

Katie Brobst (23rd), Sam Turner (25th), and Erica Dingman (26th) rounded out the official team finishes for Ursuline, while Amanda Oravec rounded out the race for the Arrows right in line with the team, finishing in 27th.

Notre Dame participated but did not finish the race, so the Falcons are not listed on the team final results.

The Cross Country season is over, but the running continues as the team will now join the track and field program to race in many of the varying distance races.
