JOPLIN, Mo. (courtesy of @CUYellowJackets) - Cedarville’s first-ever appearance at an NCAA Division II Championship resulted in the Yellow Jacket men’s cross country team finishing 15th in the 32-team race hosted by Missouri Southern State University.

Matt Brooker paced CU again by placing 41st out of 245 competitors with a time of 30:26 on the 10,000 meter course. He narrowly missed All-America recognition with the Top 40 earning the elite honor.

Josiah Bragg was 74th in 31:00 while Ben Tuttle was 86th in 31:16. Clay Watson finished 129th in 31:48 and Neil Klinger was right behind at 130th in 31:49.

Ryan Gustafson crossed the line 145th in 32:00. Jacob Walter was 153rd in 32:06.

The Jackets totaled 390 points. Adams State cruised to the team title with 34 points while Colorado Mines was a distant second with 102.
