Cedarville, Ohio - Cedarville University men's and women's cross country programs earned the title of Great Midwest Athletic Conference Cross Country Champions on Saturday morning. The Yellow Jackets claimed the first-ever cross country championship, including the individual champions for each the men and the women.

Junior Matt Brooker won the men's race, while Freshman Alex Archambault finished first in the women's event. Both runners were named G-MAC Runner of the Year for their performance, while Archambault and Trevecca Nazarene University freshman Josh Winskie earned G-MAC Freshman of the Year honors as the top freshman finishers in each of the races.
Cedarville women's head coach Jeff Bolender and men's head coach Paul Orchard were named G-MAC Coach of the Year.
