Overview: Great Midwest volleyball programs recorded an overall record of 18-30 during the second week of competition (September 3-5). Teams defeated programs from numerous conferences, including Mountain East, GLIAC, CACC, PSAC, and the Lone Star Conference. The Great Midwest will prepare for another week of competition beginning today, Tuesday, September 8^. The upcoming week will also feature the beginning of conference competition.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

• Logan Rubel led Ohio Dominican to a 4-0 weekend at the Ohio Dominican Volleyball Classic. She totaled 45 kills, 26 digs, and five service aces over the four games. The Panthers defeated D’Youville, Wilmington (Del.), Shawnee State, and West Virginia Wesleyan, all in 3-set sweeps.
• Ashland went 2-1 over the weekend at the Crimson Hawk Classic. After dropping their first match against IUP 3-1, the Eagles bounced back to defeat Daemen and West Liberty, both in 3 sets.  
• Findlay was led by Hannah Miller, who totaled 76 kills, 55 digs, and 4 blocks over the weekend. Miller passed 1000 career digs in the Oilers’ games against St. Mary’s, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Edinboro. The Oilers went 1-2, winning in a 3-2 thriller, then dropping their next 2 games in Texas.
• Maggie Rolwing of Walsh earned Athlete of the Week by totaling 43 kills, 12 blocks, and 4 digs over the weekend. Walsh went 1-2 at Frostburg State, defeating the host school 3-1, then dropping matches against Shippensburg and Pitt-Johnstown.
